Book Club

Hello students! My friend and fellow teacher Virgie Mendoza and I want to try out a new kind of lesson. We are looking for a group of students who would like to read a book together and discuss it like a book club. We would start with short stories. We would meet once a week for 8 weeks on skype as a conference call.

That way you can work on your conversational skills during the meetings as well as your reading skills and comprehension. I think this could be very fun as well as educational. The short stories would be in PDF format and we would send them to you the week before we discuss that story.

The cost for the class would be $70 for the entire 8 weeks. If you are interested contact me or Virgie. Also, contact either of us if you have any ideas for what you would like to read!

Information for lessons

Hi!  If you are looking for an english tutor you've come to the perfect place!  We can work one on one together on whatever aspect of the language you choose.  We can build vocabulary, practice conversation, or discuss grammar.
I charge $15 per lesson (50 minutes), $135 for ten lessons.  I will give you your first lesson free!
I use Skype or MSN for lessons, so it is best to have a webcam.  I will also be developing an email course in the near future, if you are interested in this let me know and I'll give you a quote.  I am on the west coast of the USA so I am Pacific Time Zone. I will make myself available for lessons based on your time zone.  At this time I accept payment by paypal, if there is another way you would like to pay let me know and we can work something out.
If you have any questions, want to schedule your first lesson email me - spankey2310@gmail.com.  You can always check and see if I'm online and message me - Skype - samantha.pankey, or MSN - spankey2310@gmail.com
